It's been so long since I last updated this website.<br />Brady has been growing and growing and growing. He's close to about 16/17 pounds now. I believe this week he has gone through a growth spurt because we have been getting a lot of comments the past few days on how BIG he is. He has been eating a lot more lately. The wonderful things that he does now is SMILE....oh it's so big and so wonderful. It just melts my heart. I love his little smile and I love that he just smiles at almost anything. Especially Logan.....He is in love with his sister and watches her everywhere she goes. It may not be like that all the time, but he currently can not get enough of her. He smiles at about everything she does and you can see that he wants to be down there playing with her also. Not to worry he will be there soon enough as now he can officially roll over....YIKES. Yes, he can roll over from his belly to his back and also back to belly. I can't believe how quickly he caught on to that skill.<br /><br />Logan turned 3 in June. WOW....she's no longer a baby anymore, but she is 3 going on 30. She knows it all and she tells us also. She's wonderful and challenging all at the same time. I can't help but to laugh at some some of the things she does. She is intense one moment and the next moment she is loving on us and laughing and giving you this incredible smile. We've had challenges lately with her and tantrums and have attempted different types of ways of disciplining her and it seems that she out smarts us with all of them. For instance....Adam tells her, "Logan, don't make me count to three." Logan (not knowing REALLY what he is talking about) tells him, "No, I count to three...1,2,3" Oh my gosh hysterical.<br /><br />I can't believe that we are already in the middle of summer. Logan will be attending St. Pius next school year, which is where Adele teaches at. It will be fun for her to go to the same school as her "Honey." Plus I can't wait to see her in that cute uniform. Actually that's probably just another challenge for me....getting her to put that uniform on 5 days a week. LOL<br /><br />Adam and I are doing wonderful also. Adam is busy with Bootcamps and Athletic Development camps this summer and I am back in school again for the next year getting my principal certificate. We are both enjoying our little ones.<br />Here are a few pics of them.<br /><br />All smiles.....so adorable!!!<br /><br /><p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2AqchvBlsTcQLlzvpyRVX0B56ax4F_4e-b5Juu5jNXn2goxUZPIZ00m9pZUMIv0_pDpf9eYLZWYYuDHT_QmuDtgTQC8iDy2UmXV2Vx2PKRyv1ixbCbK-Vb1SCQaRlZ_2RGXzJOhAPtA/s1600/photo%5B2%5D+(2).jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5490262241825469394" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2AqchvBlsTcQLlzvpyRVX0B56ax4F_4e-b5Juu5jNXn2goxUZPIZ00m9pZUMIv0_pDpf9eYLZWYYuDHT_QmuDtgTQC8iDy2UmXV2Vx2PKRyv1ixbCbK-Vb1SCQaRlZ_2RGXzJOhAPtA/s320/photo%5B2%5D+(2).jpg" /></a> </p><p>My two children and their friend, Elmo<br /></p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikJGWhPuMkRUmDivRPlBpJQWYM8C3YsmoRzl5_C0tLvtQDaHjccdzFFC_ncVywaWXTB6_IxgrwismE1CCJi6aPjWZ07nvPdDCecR-6PnlaA9n-x-4gIOFBlTHCIqyX3IUS6hnR7P960rc/s1600/photo%5B1%5D+(7).jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5490262235226653570" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikJGWhPuMkRUmDivRPlBpJQWYM8C3YsmoRzl5_C0tLvtQDaHjccdzFFC_ncVywaWXTB6_IxgrwismE1CCJi6aPjWZ07nvPdDCecR-6PnlaA9n-x-4gIOFBlTHCIqyX3IUS6hnR7P960rc/s320/photo%5B1%5D+(7).jpg" /></a><br />Mommy and her babies....oh I LOVE them<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5FDC6MLBvBI9E2jt0a2UStwm8XiRcdXsp3pYFxFlmuu0wRyV8pYMDJThH422CjOyovCWLS7-lxT2t2900BmBj5GKBsPVfi4CsQ0KY5b0y9gxjm8T-V9ohV80a2lIQneX9rqVCrCTPk94/s1600/DSC03970.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5490262231252086818" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5FDC6MLBvBI9E2jt0a2UStwm8XiRcdXsp3pYFxFlmuu0wRyV8pYMDJThH422CjOyovCWLS7-lxT2t2900BmBj5GKBsPVfi4CsQ0KY5b0y9gxjm8T-V9ohV80a2lIQneX9rqVCrCTPk94/s320/DSC03970.JPG" /></a> Daddy and his wonderful kiddos...Logan is a BIG help<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguG8KFfMHVaBLFvg3h4JOxFyF6bRjOcnzjXYe8Er5we4Xf2wkTOJf5j_5DYBTOV0BCFfYjYI48PSx48ceoRBBmVqlV7YX72D7LeLvlAwURmiGvp7ts9lo4iOkK0FK6mc3AGZXN1fD1Vy0/s1600/DSC03963.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5490262223341228402" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguG8KFfMHVaBLFvg3h4JOxFyF6bRjOcnzjXYe8Er5we4Xf2wkTOJf5j_5DYBTOV0BCFfYjYI48PSx48ceoRBBmVqlV7YX72D7LeLvlAwURmiGvp7ts9lo4iOkK0FK6mc3AGZXN1fD1Vy0/s320/DSC03963.JPG" /></a> Daddy's Girl<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiI5IeB4ug-GsBk8cuwWUYk8UtXU7SC6UtG5KZp1OyPBdmL71m8S-EMfgrD6tM_pnJxqiTls6Q2lya41wAbtHnXqXvFj3HJc1EMp3sUkND6ehUFyzu6h5mJBuVXhP5zlq9pszDBzTXGIW0/s1600/photo%5B7.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5490262214912766226" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiI5IeB4ug-GsBk8cuwWUYk8UtXU7SC6UtG5KZp1OyPBdmL71m8S-EMfgrD6tM_pnJxqiTls6Q2lya41wAbtHnXqXvFj3HJc1EMp3sUkND6ehUFyzu6h5mJBuVXhP5zlq9pszDBzTXGIW0/s320/photo%5B7.jpg" /></a></div></div>Farrell Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05764255954824262538noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4360970815672996751.post-88450313612252885502010-04-05T12:15:00.000-07:002010-04-05T13:38:31.820-07:00Brady Dempsey Farrell and more...A lot has happened since the last time I blogged. Brady finally made his debut on March 26th. He weighed 8lbs 7 ounces and was 21 inches long. He is officially 10 days old today and I'm so glad to have him with us.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinopwsfIJQZ8brOKnOyyQtSaJJPs2BhUbnsVWGqCjAxHxsNX-teGjYpm5ZGeO3wiVPFYRKttyB4sOUa1GVoYzwkUu3JwI6Hj0GAdx8mktCBTEdKFKaEYO-w1amHYVVjmAn2r5ae891WUo/s1600/DSC03806.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456752871714717490" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinopwsfIJQZ8brOKnOyyQtSaJJPs2BhUbnsVWGqCjAxHxsNX-teGjYpm5ZGeO3wiVPFYRKttyB4sOUa1GVoYzwkUu3JwI6Hj0GAdx8mktCBTEdKFKaEYO-w1amHYVVjmAn2r5ae891WUo/s320/DSC03806.JPG" border="0" /></a> The delivery was a c-section again. We ended up having to go into the hospital on a Thursday night, even though we were scheduled for a Friday delivery. My blood pressure was really high and so they wanted me to go into the hospital early to see if it would come down. As soon as they had me hooked up to the machines it came down right away and never went back up. The funny thing about going in on a Thursday was that when we had Logan we also went in on a Thursday night. In fact, we were in the same room with Brady as we were with Logan. We also had the same anesthesiologist that we had with Logan and a wonderful nurse. There were so many things that occured that were just like it was with Logan.<br /><br /><div>We left the hospital on Sunday and I was so happy to be out of there. Some people thought I was crazy for wanting to go home so early, but hospital beds are uncomfortable, the food is not so great, and having someone come in your room every hour to either check on you or the baby, gets to be too much after a while. I especially love when they say, "get some rest." How do you get rest when they are in there every hour asking you about how much he ate, did he have a wet diaper or a dry diaper. </div><br /><br /><div>Brady has so far turned out to be a decent sleeper. He is up every 3 to 5 hours at night and I can handle that. I've noticed that I'm not so paranoid about everything like I was with Logan. Of course I was a first time mommy then and I had no clue about what I was doing. This time we all know how to change diapers, burp, feed, and clean so it's much more relaxing. Also my recovery and my ability to move around easier has been better. I am moving around much sooner with Brady then I was with Logan. I still have the aches and the pains, but this time I at least know what they are....even though at times they can be a little too much.</div><br /><div>Brady was born so close to Easter, thankfully I made sure I had taken care of all the things necessary for Logan and Easter before his arrival. We got some really great shots of Logan and Brady at Easter time.</div><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif9CMvDIKFZ_WHpwohNUv7KndIdpjWUGzPOcSIhdTm10Egvhdo5XORUtvSbIyMwWXYsBEJPpWfbhqUrjqLjQC458WFuj4CMhH6L0fhyAuvMaQ6IO4tVThyDHa_5FNBeKoA2uohJZux-jM/s1600/DSC03887.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456752903242331570" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif9CMvDIKFZ_WHpwohNUv7KndIdpjWUGzPOcSIhdTm10Egvhdo5XORUtvSbIyMwWXYsBEJPpWfbhqUrjqLjQC458WFuj4CMhH6L0fhyAuvMaQ6IO4tVThyDHa_5FNBeKoA2uohJZux-jM/s320/DSC03887.JPG" border="0" /></a> Our little Easter Egg<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXeGteNFYvvU53gOnr4ppZ7ivJANInLa9OI2Amfg80aaY8G58WGxECj2aWVs7GU8-xbQqJ0UaLfwmPH3VQjMsMUeNXCcL6ot_EO1STFfJ4M3qbhgUIwu-vN-FxQpuFnyUH7PELE-lRY7k/s1600/DSC03879.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456752896787076034" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXeGteNFYvvU53gOnr4ppZ7ivJANInLa9OI2Amfg80aaY8G58WGxECj2aWVs7GU8-xbQqJ0UaLfwmPH3VQjMsMUeNXCcL6ot_EO1STFfJ4M3qbhgUIwu-vN-FxQpuFnyUH7PELE-lRY7k/s320/DSC03879.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div>We are enjoying having another additon to our family. Logan celebrated her third Christmas and I think she really started to understand more about Santa and presents. She did enjoy her presents.<br />We started my two week vacation from school by all of us heading up to Austin to the "Trail of Lights." Last year we took Logan to it and the walk was awesome. We thought this year with her loving being in the car and driving around looking at the lights on houses in Corpus, that she would really enjoy walking through Zilker Park checking out all the lights. The Trail of Lights this year was quite a disappointment. It was probably 10 times smaller than it was last year and Logan did not seem very interested in much of what was there. In fact she seemed more interested in throwing a tantrum. They did have one part of the park that was a HUGE Christmas tree of lights and so Logan and her Papa went and stood under it and spun around. She seemed to really enjoy that.<br /><br /> <em>Logan and Papa spinning under the lights. However, instead of walking back we opted to take the bus. Logan LOVED the bus. That was so exciting to her. I think that was her "Trail of Lights." I was just so glad she was in a good mood. </p><p> <em>The weather was very cold so Logan was bundled up</em><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0PqKViBXufVbDHQgQKUg9o_DO4TLOWvvpNyufJTIiwekdSBfmTRIjs3Xlhg5JByfzkDhden_-T2S9k2csPlhCIyACk8QsXB0rB5yBWZ3Ivy0CvJDqDQPxQ42KlyMTrOkXIi8S9x0ryk0/s1600-h/DSC02660.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5422618321810943378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0PqKViBXufVbDHQgQKUg9o_DO4TLOWvvpNyufJTIiwekdSBfmTRIjs3Xlhg5JByfzkDhden_-T2S9k2csPlhCIyACk8QsXB0rB5yBWZ3Ivy0CvJDqDQPxQ42KlyMTrOkXIi8S9x0ryk0/s320/DSC02660.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Christmas was awesome. She is so particular about the material that goes on her body and if it is in any way "itchy" she normally does not like to wear it. So I was VERY surprised to see her want to put on the Cinderella dress. If we let her I know she would wear that dress everywhere she goes. She's so adorable in it. She was walking through the mall talking about seeing Santa and she seemed so excited. We didn't dare let her get a glimpse of him before we got in line and we kept her occupied so that she would not see the unhappy child in front of us in line taking their picture with Santa. However, none of that worked. Logan had a moment there. She did not want to get on Santa's lap. Adam says she is much stronger this year as she would NOT let go of him. </p><p>Santa was VERY nice and decided that mommy and Logan could take a picture with him, but who would want to leave Daddy out. NOT SANTA. Santa was insisiting that Adam sit on his lap. If I wasn't so concerned with making sure that Logan just sits there while we take the picture I probably would have jumped right on the "sled" with Santa and insisted that Adam get in the holiday spirit and make that Jolly guy happy and sit on his lap.<br />Adam ended up behind the three of us and this is what our 2009 Santa photo looks like. The best "smile" we could get out of Logan.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSxCKUJle0Fz90JLjMjA9JpuZo_hR5RS4RxSx19scfSTr6Dt6dXeEk31S7oaaxKyoUMJvBH0utiX9deTvrIcN1Vy4YTsyC-Gd4RjEjO88p8q4bVZvRLoF7wpz6sET_ELhyrZr4PWOOm8I/s1600/2009+Santa+Picture.png"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5408163319643722626" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 225px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSxCKUJle0Fz90JLjMjA9JpuZo_hR5RS4RxSx19scfSTr6Dt6dXeEk31S7oaaxKyoUMJvBH0utiX9deTvrIcN1Vy4YTsyC-Gd4RjEjO88p8q4bVZvRLoF7wpz6sET_ELhyrZr4PWOOm8I/s320/2009+Santa+Picture.png" border="0" /></a><br /></p>Farrell Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05764255954824262538noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4360970815672996751.post-11540739283504302662009-11-12T14:15:00.000-08:002009-11-12T14:18:07.903-08:00It's a BOY<div>We just found out yesterday that we are having a BOY. We were both completely shocked and were dead set that it was a girl. We had to take a second look at the monitor and we had to ask the sonographer if he was kidding. But he wasn't...we for sure have a little boy arriving in March.</div><br /><div>Here is one of his first pics.</div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPjLzfR59hPkenRpWs9fO44EfwNZJzZ5MDUw_u4sGoVrls0ooP3JvHSyZdtRQbw-TIH7FiRdYLMacLHPzHrua9yKikhRvW1ulhWOoLUvHKT6__UTbYfl736RDviHX2DouxIA0c5Wgq5K8/s1600-h/Baby+Boy+Farrell.png"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403344828748635442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 254px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPjLzfR59hPkenRpWs9fO44EfwNZJzZ5MDUw_u4sGoVrls0ooP3JvHSyZdtRQbw-TIH7FiRdYLMacLHPzHrua9yKikhRvW1ulhWOoLUvHKT6__UTbYfl736RDviHX2DouxIA0c5Wgq5K8/s320/Baby+Boy+Farrell.png" border="0" /></a>Farrell Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05764255954824262538noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4360970815672996751.post-68726800154380904892009-11-01T11:33:00.000-08:002009-11-01T11:54:55.019-08:00Fall has arrived<div>It seems so sudden that summer has left us and fall has arrived. Our lives have been busy. Volleyball season is officially over for me, so I now have time in the afternoons again. Adam is busy working on the growth of his business.</div><br /><div>Logan is doing so well. I can't believe all of the wonderful things she is learning in pre-school. Shapes, colors, songs, numbers. It just blows my mind when she comes home and tells me something new; like how a slice of pizza is a triangle. Yes, she said that to me. I was such a proud mommy.</div><br /><div>Halloween just sort of snuck up on us this year. I can't believe how each Halloween Logan looks more and more different. This year she was Minnie Mouse for Halloween. She seemed to enjoy it. I think she really liked the trick-or-treat part. Once she figured out that you go up to doors and you knock on them, then people come out with bowls of candy....WOW she was set. It was especially funny when she didn't even say anything to them and just went right for the candy bowl. We let her have a few pieces last night, but most of it we recycled by handing it back out to the trick-or-treaters that came to our home. Somehow this morning, Logan found a Butterfinger and came up to me asking if she could have it....before breakfast. Luckily she was not too heart broken when I told her no.</div><br /><div>We are still continuing to work on the potty training thing. If anyone has any suggestions please share. I'd really like to have her potty trained before baby #2 arrives in March. I've heard 2 1/2 years is a great time to start and we will be approaching that in December.</div><br /><div>Here are a few pictures of Logan's past Halloweens and a picture of her this Halloween.</div><div> </div><div> </div> Logan's First Halloween...our little pumpkin<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1v6wniTobMD48781HJ9FVC9SLcGb73Zyibqk2vJcHLKQ_hAL9LRL7DEP6dEJdHzbTSk8U1aw_IL4kKZJMsoPmalMCPuxUAClYClfKvelRcfJaY6Shs-Y8OZ5qYBY4EQSDQG5RW2PbaiI/s1600-h/DSC00649.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399224594117384242" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1v6wniTobMD48781HJ9FVC9SLcGb73Zyibqk2vJcHLKQ_hAL9LRL7DEP6dEJdHzbTSk8U1aw_IL4kKZJMsoPmalMCPuxUAClYClfKvelRcfJaY6Shs-Y8OZ5qYBY4EQSDQG5RW2PbaiI/s320/DSC00649.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /> Her second Halloween....a Lady Bug<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvTpgUPAYN9FXrKcdDKAzYMWf8Lm7G8A8pLImohD-njgEjhzKaNMXnxpY8gpuyH4sdMRCmDWOJZruvHZ6ztHa9WmS4m7TpwTFHj7IeIMPQtznklbufovCVdWSN9MxvpZvaHcgJpG2AtyQ/s1600-h/DSC02692.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399224598601393938" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvTpgUPAYN9FXrKcdDKAzYMWf8Lm7G8A8pLImohD-njgEjhzKaNMXnxpY8gpuyH4sdMRCmDWOJZruvHZ6ztHa9WmS4m7TpwTFHj7IeIMPQtznklbufovCVdWSN9MxvpZvaHcgJpG2AtyQ/s320/DSC02692.JPG" border="0" /></a> ...and this year we were Minnie Mouse<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxqbdpTt8W46l-ge4F9gr5-65hANgggOLUV12kYoiO39FiNzJuNETj_FdE1FZRX4ESgwIolKV34OD-QUW644aG1WoiDtLRn8ecgBM1vcs74VpETaTKHB83MqTfBA708O6jzgkQe-71ABY/s1600-h/DSC03590.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399224591832473618" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxqbdpTt8W46l-ge4F9gr5-65hANgggOLUV12kYoiO39FiNzJuNETj_FdE1FZRX4ESgwIolKV34OD-QUW644aG1WoiDtLRn8ecgBM1vcs74VpETaTKHB83MqTfBA708O6jzgkQe-71ABY/s320/DSC03590.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /> Here is her little outfit she wore to school for their party<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMsZ_88xk7S2vlEuogiJJMFM2uQy5vh19Dp16gHndZG7degumfXTiu_ActzUTfz2mNrECnnzA4pNC2JykuCz_E0-euPu-ossWPcgAXZduT9KxvUXXvIi1qu3b3sE7QAXhLnqk1G8qJtMw/s1600-h/DSC03575.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399224583915420098" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMsZ_88xk7S2vlEuogiJJMFM2uQy5vh19Dp16gHndZG7degumfXTiu_ActzUTfz2mNrECnnzA4pNC2JykuCz_E0-euPu-ossWPcgAXZduT9KxvUXXvIi1qu3b3sE7QAXhLnqk1G8qJtMw/s320/DSC03575.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div> So grown up...I can't believe it!!!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhH8BR2ez3z8kK1UoBr5nOfaFIRsQ82gP0ONLM-R72u9GRctgRVDjEcx1akpW1_OxTNjeHNwXc8KBeiR5WCVYMR8E8fdTfMVsnJjAYYUPso_4d3Por_sVQqox1PwAC7yQGt3x6Jrd5LFhs/s1600-h/DSC03580.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399224579185878098" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhH8BR2ez3z8kK1UoBr5nOfaFIRsQ82gP0ONLM-R72u9GRctgRVDjEcx1akpW1_OxTNjeHNwXc8KBeiR5WCVYMR8E8fdTfMVsnJjAYYUPso_4d3Por_sVQqox1PwAC7yQGt3x6Jrd5LFhs/s320/DSC03580.JPG" border="0" /></a> </div></div></div></div>Farrell Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05764255954824262538noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4360970815672996751.post-49110480342544672622009-07-19T18:29:00.001-07:002009-07-19T19:34:19.568-07:00Happy 40th Anniversary Steve and Adele<div>Today my in-laws celeebrated their 40th Anniversary. Actually I should say that they initially started off celebrating their 40th Anniversary about 2 weeks ago when they took a cruise to Alaska. We (Adam, Logan, myself and Michaela) celebrated their Anniversary with them yesterday evening. We had everyone over to our house last night for dinner. I had "planned" on making a 4 layer cake. Each layer was going to be a different color; representing each decade that they have been married. I started making the cake Saturday morning. Well needless to say, "I'm definitely NOT a cake decorator." It was actually quite shocking how wrong I got this because I actually tend to put desserts together quite well. However, this picture describes it all.<br /><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA5P0Dw0ILSbtXUm7k2NpUi6q2Rslmc7nhHZBlgRxCe0uJ5jE4-PjnPg0JZrn3zwW0VBwDULTbRnY8CruitDaqTIvx7-iuXvQ_zUuhSL4iZjFYIf-psuvr1frm82RmvPVYIv3z2sPSuCY/s1600-h/cake.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360349247148920402" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA5P0Dw0ILSbtXUm7k2NpUi6q2Rslmc7nhHZBlgRxCe0uJ5jE4-PjnPg0JZrn3zwW0VBwDULTbRnY8CruitDaqTIvx7-iuXvQ_zUuhSL4iZjFYIf-psuvr1frm82RmvPVYIv3z2sPSuCY/s320/cake.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I think it was a little too heavy and fell over and apart. Adam had to get a picture of it. Not to worry though, we saved the cake to show them. I did make them another cake that turned out great. I sent them home with this colorful cake and an extra container of frosting. The cake was quite good, it's was just not so great to look at.<br />After dinner we gave them the gift we had been working on. We created a slideshow of the past 40 years. They loved it. We hope their 40th Anniversary was spectaclar. Happy Anniversary. We drove 2800 miles and had a wonderful time. Although the driving began to be a bit much towards the end, it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be. </div><div>We started out our trip on Friday and headed to Kerrville, Texas. It's about 3 1/2 hours from Corpus Christi. We didn't get to leave until later that day because Adam had to finish up a few last things at work, but we wanted to knock some miles out of the way. Kerrville is a lovely little town. It was our first night in the hotel and I got the chance to see what Logan was going to be like sleeping....her foot was going to be permanently stuck in my ribs every night. YEAH for me. </div><br /><div><strong>Saturday</strong> morning we got up and started our drive. Our plan was to head to Carlsbad, New Mexico and stay the night there. The day was mostly uneventful besides some of the dirty towns we drove through and the fact that I through my car keys away in this disgusting trash can on accident and had to go get them. No it wasn't a dumpster, but it was still disgusting. Once we got to Carlsbad we realized that we could go much further and decided to head to Albuquerque. Thank you to our friend Brian for getting online for us and finding us a GREAT hotel to stay at. The entire drive that day was terribly boring, but we survived it.</div><br /><div><strong>Sunday </strong>morning we were back on the road for our first Colorado destination; Durango. It was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was perfect; warm but no humidity. We were told it was the hottest day of the year and of course we thought it felt amazing. We went to visit our friends, The Dupont's. On Sunday they took us downtown to check out the stores. It was so green and so beautiful. Here is Logan and the Dupont kiddos playing on these horses by the train station.<br /></div><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7C0yzKPP_xWTdlPCdKr5W-wo-NCXDg_XVsJJZ2THT4hoTPf4ukUdVlIIqshpTLYvCijRipC1u3jPBQPUFLlS21laW41Y-2pukVlVB3HQj0HZmdUho0BaHSqxhRFVyfH8tdX3B0CoLPt8/s1600-h/DSC03449.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354679059239469650" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7C0yzKPP_xWTdlPCdKr5W-wo-NCXDg_XVsJJZ2THT4hoTPf4ukUdVlIIqshpTLYvCijRipC1u3jPBQPUFLlS21laW41Y-2pukVlVB3HQj0HZmdUho0BaHSqxhRFVyfH8tdX3B0CoLPt8/s320/DSC03449.JPG" border="0" /></a> That evening we had a fabulous dinner at there house and sat on their back deck. I wish I would have gotten pictures of it. The view was pretty awesome.<br /><br /><div><strong>Monday</strong> morning Adam, Logan and I headed out to do a few things on our own. We drove around the town a bit and went up to the College they have in Durango, Ft. Lewis College. The campus is awesome. It's on top of this mountain and it overlooks the city. Incredible. Here is a few pictures of us by the University.</div><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQFrQdKCULdNQJSnYL7OlBl3ud8CVHqYq2fiJ2DbZiTPzbmXtxpKkpjiQYDe5QnrniMaShfwdKd4HdkW-wJwXnYyU6s02yJVcTKaEJg4ao9hvm7PzL_cEVXQBPeMrJ8JfXWSPRe51wa7M/s1600-h/DSC03459.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354679073892950738" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQFrQdKCULdNQJSnYL7OlBl3ud8CVHqYq2fiJ2DbZiTPzbmXtxpKkpjiQYDe5QnrniMaShfwdKd4HdkW-wJwXnYyU6s02yJVcTKaEJg4ao9hvm7PzL_cEVXQBPeMrJ8JfXWSPRe51wa7M/s320/DSC03459.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3wv1W0mkFm-fcMNHhjbEugmZ6Od4iLhTyFf99AFl68hm1xPkL2uxy6T1OjHn4bAg3gwH7EXAk2bicufAMzfWtLx4wC617vLC-bjXSS2nzAW0sg1TvgMcLn_b9Z2ixHmkq9vmSvrkUYvI/s1600-h/DSC03450.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354679069072240754" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3wv1W0mkFm-fcMNHhjbEugmZ6Od4iLhTyFf99AFl68hm1xPkL2uxy6T1OjHn4bAg3gwH7EXAk2bicufAMzfWtLx4wC617vLC-bjXSS2nzAW0sg1TvgMcLn_b9Z2ixHmkq9vmSvrkUYvI/s320/DSC03450.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2OQEQEHala5gWTRjtxHv2kt1icvAYx8BwCobWUAINhyphenhypheneHJnbwd77yvzhYkq8MSOO2LJp6bE2mky8owCns64AkT1UfjuZp8g7tSXwoHM5xbKv39Q1OpiohyphenhyphenI5jQ-gnYgTUg_IMJEbo_pg/s1600-h/DSC03451.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354679063348001298" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2OQEQEHala5gWTRjtxHv2kt1icvAYx8BwCobWUAINhyphenhypheneHJnbwd77yvzhYkq8MSOO2LJp6bE2mky8owCns64AkT1UfjuZp8g7tSXwoHM5xbKv39Q1OpiohyphenhyphenI5jQ-gnYgTUg_IMJEbo_pg/s320/DSC03451.JPG" border="0" /></a> After checking out the college, we went back downtown and walked around a bit more. The day was a bit cooler and Logan seemed to be enjoying her nap in the stroller.<br /><br /><div>That evening they took us on a drive to this restaurant by a lake. Thank you guys.<br /><br /><div><strong>Tuesday</strong> morning we headed off to our second destination, Castle Rock Colorado. It's a small town outside of Denver. My brother and his family lives there and my Dad was flying in from South Carolina to hang out with us. </div><div>Adam and I decided to take the "scenic" drive from Durango to Castle Rock. We went through San Juan National Forest. I can't count how many times we said, "Beautiful, Awesome, Unbelievable." The views were absolutely breath taking. Although the drive took us a few hours longer than the original drive was to take, we couldn't pass up on the experience of seeing these views. Adam did majority of the driving through the mountains. There were a few parts where it was a bit scary...huge drops to the side of us. Here are a few pics from our drive.<br /></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhczZ4clN_nLGd9tzKQ7VxTiSfdvz3USXunJC9yM3YfrAaQr-QlgUbY1l4BA5c6tWa355UMNWVZX1mQXHQtt2MbAqULBPkTvobT2TE78a_s22xY_sZx_wQ-aWTNfEp0W_2BD6Vr1ON9wnw/s1600-h/DSC03478.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354684740916681618" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhczZ4clN_nLGd9tzKQ7VxTiSfdvz3USXunJC9yM3YfrAaQr-QlgUbY1l4BA5c6tWa355UMNWVZX1mQXHQtt2MbAqULBPkTvobT2TE78a_s22xY_sZx_wQ-aWTNfEp0W_2BD6Vr1ON9wnw/s320/DSC03478.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCvNcQP5I6mB0LfrrVUWT4vNqpj0in-yw-9Dvmc4vqpzrfsMXQ6MvWgZJRHl9aw9WBLjh6XfdLDuJYuGy5Z3N04Ne0sjwLOt-DdV9-k-_jJWvg8c1mCOut0QeBxuLFiQIEwIDVPRZTRhI/s1600-h/DSC03479.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354681317607393682" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCvNcQP5I6mB0LfrrVUWT4vNqpj0in-yw-9Dvmc4vqpzrfsMXQ6MvWgZJRHl9aw9WBLjh6XfdLDuJYuGy5Z3N04Ne0sjwLOt-DdV9-k-_jJWvg8c1mCOut0QeBxuLFiQIEwIDVPRZTRhI/s320/DSC03479.JPG" border="0" /></a> <em>Yes, that is a cyclist in front of us...we were going pretty slow for us, but if I were on a bike it would have been too fast for me. I knew my brother had something big in store for greeting us at his house. The last time we saw them was for our wedding and when Adam came over to the house they were staying at, my brother walks out in a speedo and gives Adam a hug..."welcome to the family." I of course am quite use to this display from my brother and take huge enjoyment in it. He cracks me up. Well here is the outfit that he greeted Adam in this time.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV4nf0QSmvMnDpdC8Sm2HI1hxkGbG65hrV5Dgj1vKMBwsmK4mGwqZ-11IjDKj80Tc3A5rmBr_u7jmyJqrZK1OiiEeUiG0ZYSYS39eWlvAQKYIXaf_jJMeg3wMW16MUh3OuXymWkgbzL6Y/s1600-h/DSC03488.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354681330365829426" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV4nf0QSmvMnDpdC8Sm2HI1hxkGbG65hrV5Dgj1vKMBwsmK4mGwqZ-11IjDKj80Tc3A5rmBr_u7jmyJqrZK1OiiEeUiG0ZYSYS39eWlvAQKYIXaf_jJMeg3wMW16MUh3OuXymWkgbzL6Y/s320/DSC03488.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJEnJdZ8OAMOq-fuYpVVUslrgZYnaqnlTGInOi4XQqwVnDoZxm1wISVUcCYpHEffItFvF-FoVww5zoEFcxck8ZhnVb_9g21Oy0CZd-AQqQwQlNgA0F9jn6fahwryDduU88Ecq3-jXz20Q/s1600-h/DSC03487.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354681326905359810" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJEnJdZ8OAMOq-fuYpVVUslrgZYnaqnlTGInOi4XQqwVnDoZxm1wISVUcCYpHEffItFvF-FoVww5zoEFcxck8ZhnVb_9g21Oy0CZd-AQqQwQlNgA0F9jn6fahwryDduU88Ecq3-jXz20Q/s320/DSC03487.JPG" border="0" /></a> After the hilarious greeting we had dinner with my brother, my sister-in-law, dad and nephews. Logan and my nephew Ev had a BLAST together. They were all over the place playing with toys. It was so great to see them get a long so well. And it was so wonderful to get to be with my family.<br /><div><strong>Wednesday</strong> my Dad treated us all to a trip to the Denver Zoo. Although we only made it a few hours it was a lot of fun. Again, Ev and Logan had a lot of fun together. Logan loves Monkeys and she kept making monkey noises. It was very cute. The most "interesting" part at the zoo was when we went to see the Gorillas. There was this lady nestled on one of the ledges next to the gorilla...of course the glass was keeping the two from touching each other, but these two were having some sort of conversation together...if the glass weren't there I don't know what would have happened. It was very interesting to see the Gorilla interact with her like this. We spent the night in Amarillo and go a chance to meet up with our friends, Andrew and Adrienne Chaddick. We were so happy to see them before they get ready to have their first little baby in a few weeks. Logan had one of best meals while we had dinner with them. I didn't want her to scare them too badly. :) She also tried breaking in all the baby's new toys. We didn't get a picture with them, which we were upset about, but we wish them the best of luck in this new chapter of their lives. They are going to be awesome parents and we can't wait to meet their new little one.<br /><br /><div><strong>Friday </strong>morning was back on the road. We left Amarillo at 8am and got back to Corpus at 7:30pm. After driving 2800 miles, listening to 2 different Dora DVD's, 1 Yo Gabba Gabba DVD and CD and many diaper changes in the car because many restaurants don't have changing tables, we were glad to be home. The trip was definitely an adventure and it was full of fun. We had a blast, but it was definitely time to sleep in our own bed...however poor Logan thought she was still going to get to sleep with Mommy.</div><div>Here is one final picture of what Logan looked like in the back seat as we pulled in to Corpus Christi. I think a week of vacation wore her out. </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHeiknP_0VInqvFnZs-39jAzoTWOEHmEJT2VQ5uwv3iu-diUhy21OHD1JdUbe_X7vDq6IqeVbcMWuzRYGG7KGFFr_S_FMK7RPeib4IY5N3ygwz1B7Zb7K3gMU_VerNxaJy3z5XdvVGU-U/s1600-h/DSC03523.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354684744424922194" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHeiknP_0VInqvFnZs-39jAzoTWOEHmEJT2VQ5uwv3iu-diUhy21OHD1JdUbe_X7vDq6IqeVbcMWuzRYGG7KGFFr_S_FMK7RPeib4IY5N3ygwz1B7Zb7K3gMU_VerNxaJy3z5XdvVGU-U/s320/DSC03523.JPG" border="0" /></a>Farrell Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05764255954824262538noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4360970815672996751.post-58883645081522876342009-06-14T18:24:00.000-07:002009-06-14T18:44:06.231-07:00Logan's Birthday party<div>Her official birthday isn't until tomorrow the 15th of June, but we had a birthday party for her this weekend. It was a "Dora" party and she loved it. Besides getting tons of Dora presents from friends and family, she had a Dora cake, Dora decorations, she wore a Dora dress and we served mexican food for dinner. It was a lot of fun!!! Here are a few pics of her birthday fiesta.</div><br />Here she is opening up her Dora Vanity set from her Auntie Michaela...we put it together she loves it.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiycByJhaouI6bXQ5Qr54tHMU-7T5BTISDh8PNQBaDjhBwSTp4Q90HmANTpzYFtsBrph7Q58WdG1XeGTnoKfev7a8oMEvoSew9OcraNhRPl9jJYG2qYx4HfsuC_p2DW1sBfRUCk5VXQLkw/s1600-h/DSC03408.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347362110404601858" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiycByJhaouI6bXQ5Qr54tHMU-7T5BTISDh8PNQBaDjhBwSTp4Q90HmANTpzYFtsBrph7Q58WdG1XeGTnoKfev7a8oMEvoSew9OcraNhRPl9jJYG2qYx4HfsuC_p2DW1sBfRUCk5VXQLkw/s320/DSC03408.JPG" border="0" /></a> </div><div>We got her a tricycle for her birthday...I give her 2 weeks and she'll be riding down the street...need to get her a bell. :)</div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-UNfdeSrNL2CK_YeofBiEUzmj0Hcs64lB47QRtr-TAMB9DbZrbX5HZrH2XF5isE17HoNjRfPabOuFoDu3rIH180-YmNVbDO7XW66FNpDVy5gFHo1MW84ssSsXZo0Yt4lMcuPx6QYs1ms/s1600-h/DSC03404.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347362105646026770" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-UNfdeSrNL2CK_YeofBiEUzmj0Hcs64lB47QRtr-TAMB9DbZrbX5HZrH2XF5isE17HoNjRfPabOuFoDu3rIH180-YmNVbDO7XW66FNpDVy5gFHo1MW84ssSsXZo0Yt4lMcuPx6QYs1ms/s320/DSC03404.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Blowing out her candles...or maybe Mommy and Daddy were blowing them out and she was watching.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjG_w58S2votYUfYtyQjKeFeoCvTbZFn8dyQZA5RUA4YwyfqzKL5_4mq-WKGuMiVWVFGxrrcz5NExRBwpE4pu2BsvqC5jz-IXoo2eJUuu-VhxvtqW1Sil4FMxUTMFXzwFpHf6nEOiPjmmI/s1600-h/DSC03416.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347362115074176850" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjG_w58S2votYUfYtyQjKeFeoCvTbZFn8dyQZA5RUA4YwyfqzKL5_4mq-WKGuMiVWVFGxrrcz5NExRBwpE4pu2BsvqC5jz-IXoo2eJUuu-VhxvtqW1Sil4FMxUTMFXzwFpHf6nEOiPjmmI/s320/DSC03416.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /> The three of us....<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKC_hOeRtwSqrBXm8dfsGsw0k9rHXOVrdSM01xFkf4P0PdW9ItrPG_tsz0S-U_yzowy5Hhw00C7qYyuC5sxvsWXal-UQQlvspY3TwNcHMaOCTtw_5tfjcBKJr6EzqmbyStQfkNGSh7tuY/s1600-h/DSC03417.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347362107624855474" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKC_hOeRtwSqrBXm8dfsGsw0k9rHXOVrdSM01xFkf4P0PdW9ItrPG_tsz0S-U_yzowy5Hhw00C7qYyuC5sxvsWXal-UQQlvspY3TwNcHMaOCTtw_5tfjcBKJr6EzqmbyStQfkNGSh7tuY/s320/DSC03417.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /> Yummy cake...or cup cakes!!!<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr_ebujogOdo2HWeL1xzyXfsyD4RtbFRuHK5pUZOEnHjI2CSbzqVgEUWW4_hcjBqEjAQKiE9gsPABe9uefrbzBhacfp9G6fitC0_4Kj0pUa-pRG6cMmofH4e9SZKWO0nwj0yA9T8c3iXI/s1600-h/DSC03420.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347362098532689170" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr_ebujogOdo2HWeL1xzyXfsyD4RtbFRuHK5pUZOEnHjI2CSbzqVgEUWW4_hcjBqEjAQKiE9gsPABe9uefrbzBhacfp9G6fitC0_4Kj0pUa-pRG6cMmofH4e9SZKWO0nwj0yA9T8c3iXI/s320/DSC03420.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div></div></div></div>Farrell Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05764255954824262538noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4360970815672996751.post-1508751417504415962009-06-11T12:07:00.001-07:002009-06-11T12:41:33.320-07:00Mother Daughter Vacation<div><div>Logan and I just got back from a week long mother and daughter vacation to California. It was lots of fun. Logan was exceptional on the plane rides. We got to stop and hang out with lots of my friends along the way on our visit. </div><br /><div>On Thursday we flew into San Jose and stayed with Lynette for a couple of days. Thursday I was so exhausted and so was Logan that the both of us went to bed super early that day. Friday we got up and went to the Oakland Zoo. I was very impressed with the Zoo. It was a smaller zoo, but it was very clean and there weren't many people there, so Logan got to run around for quite a bit. Here are a few pics of our Zoo trip.</div><br />The three of us on a train ride around part of the zoo....."choo-choo."<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsXrgVBM0ZctsjyxowiWF_XR-xF2Cz8ozgya8T0DUpgySTt7b_g7zJEvmqSE8LKJTJvoVRrQPApfHO78apzn5CTi6bBHZ9jJn34dAQF9RVBabfQdMIGrih8Oqjx_bELX1XlItvBVQwg4M/s1600-h/DSC03349.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346153715712262994" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsXrgVBM0ZctsjyxowiWF_XR-xF2Cz8ozgya8T0DUpgySTt7b_g7zJEvmqSE8LKJTJvoVRrQPApfHO78apzn5CTi6bBHZ9jJn34dAQF9RVBabfQdMIGrih8Oqjx_bELX1XlItvBVQwg4M/s320/DSC03349.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Logan actually posing for a picture. Logan got some great playing time in with Monica and her daughter, Dakota, who just happens to be like 6 months older than Logan. My brand new niece, Kambria, was being dedicated. I think I surprised a lot of people at church who hadn't seen me in a VERY long time...like 12 years. During the baby dedication they had the family of both sides come up to the front and be witnesses to the dedication. As the preacher was saying a wonderful prayer, Logan decided that she needed to meow like a kitty. Not just meow one time, but repeatedly meow. How that man finished his prayer without a laugh is beyond me, but I know that when the prayer was over with I was thanking God for ending the prayer. :) </div><br /><div>During our time in Tulare I stayed with the parents of one of my greatest childhood friends. They had a little grandson who was about 4 months younger than Logan. He was adorable and the two of them on Sunday had a blast playing in the back yard. I also hung out with one of my high school friends, Jill and her kiddos. WOW!!! That was great. We got to catch up with each other and talk about the past. Grandma Lou (Jill's grandma) has turtles in her back yard and so here are a few pics of Logan checking out the turtles. She loved them.</div><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHTpuJ_zkJQAFaeyu3vbf6RgMMPwkx4WTCUB95cHrQ6FqPHNVqPAQ8SuoHOb8ScRySDuUJV-8hvzJWPCA_UrWBsYNmmdRNN0dzTRtA0qUHZP6Pb5icdTYsUbW7QklpDz03dQIWmaup-xo/s1600-h/DSC03386.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346153733317563202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHTpuJ_zkJQAFaeyu3vbf6RgMMPwkx4WTCUB95cHrQ6FqPHNVqPAQ8SuoHOb8ScRySDuUJV-8hvzJWPCA_UrWBsYNmmdRNN0dzTRtA0qUHZP6Pb5icdTYsUbW7QklpDz03dQIWmaup-xo/s320/DSC03386.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjabABUGWyamQp66h89OsWQLG__-FO_XGwhLe3-bwKhlh5lET7sPAQfXncBrW7Ck4n7WBJdyxWBvQSAEIg0iHZxrds3zhzW09e4eqnE7FKO_3xoJJ_jG3CRxCJXYSKVGYKKl-FDVCQ7N3M/s1600-h/DSC03372.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346153718307813954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjabABUGWyamQp66h89OsWQLG__-FO_XGwhLe3-bwKhlh5lET7sPAQfXncBrW7Ck4n7WBJdyxWBvQSAEIg0iHZxrds3zhzW09e4eqnE7FKO_3xoJJ_jG3CRxCJXYSKVGYKKl-FDVCQ7N3M/s320/DSC03372.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />And here is a final picture of my sister Kirsten, niece Kambria, and Logan and I<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgs7wjCw7OAiwdekX-tgA23zjz97GNmKrKq5l9AehesOaagJUppk1dy3aFY12xyjxtoUhuA8cx192KB1iMOiOcai7DGGy1YuC9LpF98DIWP2OIHp27CW_wI7ACXhwccGcAE93DWqOlOS_Y/s1600-h/DSC03367.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346153723525435394" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgs7wjCw7OAiwdekX-tgA23zjz97GNmKrKq5l9AehesOaagJUppk1dy3aFY12xyjxtoUhuA8cx192KB1iMOiOcai7DGGy1YuC9LpF98DIWP2OIHp27CW_wI7ACXhwccGcAE93DWqOlOS_Y/s320/DSC03367.JPG" border="0" /></a> Logan and I had a blast on our trip. I sure did. It was another wonderful time celebrating the holiday. I had Friday off of work, so that was really great. Adam's parents hung out with Logan during the day and Adam and I got to spend some time together. It actually seemed like it had been a LOOONNNNGGG time since we had done that. I'm glad we did something fun with our time together. We went and ate lunch together and then went out to the beach. I got a little burnt at lunch, so we only stayed at the beach for about an hour or so, but it still was great to be hanging out there.</div><br /><div>Saturday, Adam's sister came into town and they wanted to keep Logan over night. YEAH!!! That meant we were going to get to sleep in past 7am and Logan was staying with Honey, Grandpa, and Aunt Michaela.</div><br /><div>Easter morning we headed over to get Logan dressed for church and we all headed out to mass. Logan lasted longer than she did at Christmas, but she still did not make it through the entire service. It probably didn't help that she had Aunt Michaela, Honey and Grandpa up at 4:30am. </div><br /><br /><div>After church we had lunch with everyone, Logan did a bit of Easter egg hunting. Although Logan was in the cutest dress for Easter...Thank you Aunt Peg...Logan didn't keep it on for long. You'll notice that this year Logan spent Easter mostly in just her diaper. She was feeling very relaxed and she was having so much fun, I didn't want to stop her. </div><br /><div>Overall, the 3 day weekend that I had was fabulous. Can't wait for another break like that. I think my next long weekend will be Memorial weekend.</div><br /><div>Here are some pics of Easter weekend.</div></div><br />Although the picture is blurry, here we all are dressed up for church...don't you love Logan's glasses?!!<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjioqfDrN0hK4ZXkohA4T6SYT-3Eb6hie2TRN7Wap5qQkpjULliROA1DVb7z6M6jpHOq_ZvjXKtrpFIflS2jMVj9pxu7lHcexL_tMsYfPIqkS_uAwEVlBkacH_QwVPne5BZd1U-boRBn5U/s1600-h/DSC02428.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323987738122065410" style="DISPLAY: block; I figured we should take her as much as we can so we can get her to like it more. She didn't cry, but she still didn't like when her shoes and feet got sandy. She did really well though. She even walked out to the water with us. I was proud of her. I really enjoyed the vacation. I guess it's a really great taste of what summer has in store for me.<br /><br />The first day of spring break, Saturday, was a VERY rainy, wet day, but Adam and I HAD to get the sod laid down in our yard. Yes, we tore out all those plants in our front yard and put grass in. It was such a difficult chore and it took a few hours, but through all the wet and mud Adam and I got it all down and I can't believe the huge difference it makes to our house. It really opens it up and makes it more inviting. I wish I had before and after pics of what we did, but unfortunately I don't have either. Lets just all keep our fingers crossed that it takes. We've been doing lots of watering to it.<br /><br />Sunday, March 15th, Adam and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. It seems so odd to say it was our one year anniversary because we've been together for so long, but it was. WOW!!! I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband. Here is a picture of that wonderful spring day last year.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxtErzexYbaQJRo9DFmUKwnLkuIf1DAGmmA261wPaoa_xsy8gIFT9kGFFyjqzQOxJyOSrgZVmUpP-4m9rIhynXoa5-fjEZsPUr_2bnUShaFWqjMKdB2RJ6-yO41LrkVUahZu63Cp_Q4-k/s1600-h/wedding+1.png"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316083628507599154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 184px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxtErzexYbaQJRo9DFmUKwnLkuIf1DAGmmA261wPaoa_xsy8gIFT9kGFFyjqzQOxJyOSrgZVmUpP-4m9rIhynXoa5-fjEZsPUr_2bnUShaFWqjMKdB2RJ6-yO41LrkVUahZu63Cp_Q4-k/s320/wedding+1.png" border="0" /></a><br /><div>I had a few things I wanted to do during the week of spring break. I wanted to read a book and I wanted to do something with Logan away from the house everyday. And I can actually say that I accomplished both those goals. I read a fabulous book called, The Reader. Some of you may have seen the movie, but I had not, so I did not know what the book was about. It was a really great book and I really don't have any intentions on watching the movie. I don't want take anything away from the book. I suggest to anyone who has not watched the movie to read the book. </div><br /><br /><div>Logan and I also did something everyday during spring break. On Monday, Logan, Honey, and I went to the Texas State Aquarium...which happens to be in Corpus. Adam was able to meet up with us later on during the day. We had a blast there. We walked around and looked at all the different sea creatures. We watched the dolphin show, had lunch, and played in the playground area. Here are a few pics of that great adventure.</div><br />Logan checking out the otters. They had an "open swim" time, so I thought it would be perfect. I was SOOOOOO wrong. There were about 300 kids too many there. The pool was extremely crowded and Logan did not get quite the experience I was hoping she'd get. We stayed for about 10 minutes and left. I forgot we weren't the only ones on spring break.</div><br /><div>On Thursday Logan, Honey and I went to the beach. Logan has not been to the beach in a VERY long time. I was bummed to see that she didn't enjoy it that much. She wasn't very fond of the sand...that's not something that she needs to dislike at the beach. I've never heard of a beach without sand. I guess Adam and I need to take her there more often so she will learn to appreciate it. Here are the few pics we were able to catch there.</div><br />Mom and Logan playing together. WOW!!! I can't believe I'm out of my 20's. I don't feel 30, not that I really know what 30 is suppose to feel like. I feel like people might take me more seriously. I'm not just a young child anymore, I'm 3o. :) I'm old enough to have had some "experiences" in my life. Adam and I went to dinner in Rockport that night. It was very delicious. It was a really nice dinner with just the two of us.</div><br /><br /><div>Saturday morning, we got up early and Adam, Logan, Honey and I headed out for San Antonio to go to the Zoo. There were soooooo many people there. Last year, we were at the San Diego Zoo and I believe there were just as many people at the San Antonio Zoo as there was the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo is much larger than San Antonio Zoo. Logan seemed to enjoy herself for the most part. We had our difficult moments...especially when she was hungry and I think we waited in like for like 30 minutes just to get our food. We saw LOTS of animals and she got a chance to walk around a bit. I was told that if you just trim her hair a little it will start to grow more and get thicker, so that's what we did. This weekend I had a hair appointment for myself, so Adam brought Logan up while I was getting my hair done. When Logan and Adam arrived I was getting my hair washed. This is a picture of Logan sitting on me while my hair is getting washed.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZShLc1H_fziKX4l8p2xFLrrzDBvgLmUk70-Xq5EUpRD3l58PIZNuVT_TCE-M-0gT1ivP3CTmqNsfnexTnbMjjycdDc4lUJlv8F1UoeY_KIDNJunihHBrdwmsl3Y7G-JOUSgZorP8Xry8/s1600-h/DSC03074.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5310918019750600066" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZShLc1H_fziKX4l8p2xFLrrzDBvgLmUk70-Xq5EUpRD3l58PIZNuVT_TCE-M-0gT1ivP3CTmqNsfnexTnbMjjycdDc4lUJlv8F1UoeY_KIDNJunihHBrdwmsl3Y7G-JOUSgZorP8Xry8/s320/DSC03074.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>We did a very little trim on Logan's hair. We cut a little bit in the front and very little in the back. I still want to be able to put it in those pig tails. Logan sat on my lap during the process. They were actually blow drying my hair while they were cutting her hair. I think the blow dryer was a good distraction because this could have been the perfect opportunity for Logan to lose it and throw a fit, but she didn't. She was wonderful. Here are more pictures of the process.<br /><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_EhnDBUAmOidqqoVaanEhTI7IGs0JP_RhyphenhyphenN3-QqwvUYu0EwRr2fYvxfGloWc9Zpf1kkJOn21_l8iOpaI3jbuu1hsBLLu3dsqRcd5jQurp8_ApqHevZbT06B0t_g3bCBegClb1S-QgAUs/s1600-h/DSC03084.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5310918036836534178" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_EhnDBUAmOidqqoVaanEhTI7IGs0JP_RhyphenhyphenN3-QqwvUYu0EwRr2fYvxfGloWc9Zpf1kkJOn21_l8iOpaI3jbuu1hsBLLu3dsqRcd5jQurp8_ApqHevZbT06B0t_g3bCBegClb1S-QgAUs/s320/DSC03084.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR9hVtZF3Qkjta46nQvI6rAMUrmEakCegO6TqPH0Ozue2f-__qRU7Xa8i-0K9MKukrAnhC4wnMv8IU_gaG88E_Tr_hc5aNFQvVTZVhp2oGVAdv1HNCQGLY7N-JM2Pv8orKO4VQT3LVLi0/s1600-h/DSC03077.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5310918029930995730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR9hVtZF3Qkjta46nQvI6rAMUrmEakCegO6TqPH0Ozue2f-__qRU7Xa8i-0K9MKukrAnhC4wnMv8IU_gaG88E_Tr_hc5aNFQvVTZVhp2oGVAdv1HNCQGLY7N-JM2Pv8orKO4VQT3LVLi0/s320/DSC03077.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>And here is an extra picture just for fun...she took Adam's hat away and put it on her head. It's a mommy and me class for girls 18 months - 3 years to do ballet. Here are a couple pictures of Logan on her second day of the class. I was so happy she let me put the outfit on her.<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9BsJXtXrURUl-pExpE173oG1LQD44RW9mKpqYLcei2Fara9RZnDsXxmcZC_wIen-RY4cNrZmwORJoYHybLhtq7b2gRdFBmaZJsau_s1A9ISHmjxou03uF8OQlY5Iqt6mc2OpzesN_pSI/s1600-h/DSC03027.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5309474854197870834" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9BsJXtXrURUl-pExpE173oG1LQD44RW9mKpqYLcei2Fara9RZnDsXxmcZC_wIen-RY4cNrZmwORJoYHybLhtq7b2gRdFBmaZJsau_s1A9ISHmjxou03uF8OQlY5Iqt6mc2OpzesN_pSI/s320/DSC03027.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />I think I'm carrying her along here...she doesn't seem to want to walk. :)<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5VpVfqMrZ6SMfkCO8hQ2bOe5H7QohPyfSLoHgi0ToQdu-FlOlfGlfjQThx_qpy7HAmR4zFoezceb3bgeKppC2a4D0nryuqGPTBC8tzc28cPZ3kQCwUgdnwBWLnvbO5falmKXggrh0HCQ/s1600-h/DSC03024.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5309474843760055682" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5VpVfqMrZ6SMfkCO8hQ2bOe5H7QohPyfSLoHgi0ToQdu-FlOlfGlfjQThx_qpy7HAmR4zFoezceb3bgeKppC2a4D0nryuqGPTBC8tzc28cPZ3kQCwUgdnwBWLnvbO5falmKXggrh0HCQ/s320/DSC03024.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div>Here are pics from this past Monday in class. Each time she stays engaged longer and longer and she participates better. She especially loves when the turtles come out. I especially love any time where she actually tries to do some of the movements they ask. It's so darn cute.</div><br /><br /><div>This week I was also able to put Logans hair in pig tails for the first time. It's so cute. She actually kept them in her hair the whole day. I usually just put one pony tail on the top of her head, but this particular morning I felt adventerous and decided to go for 2. To my surprise she was okay with it. That evening around 5:30....she went to take the pony tails out, but she is so used to having just one in there, that that was all she took out. She just took one side out. It was too funny. I wish I would have gotten a good picture of it, but she kept running away from me.</div></div></div><br /><p>Check out those pig tails.</p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHk8xZQ8lfz2bo1zCxcQheaYQL8eXOsFnTjeXpNvHDWAmvXe06-tKtoG5WMC0KOvvKNUq275AANYWOvqqZ2GIzGLY-NmeDWCQwGQzdOuYbOomb7Q-Gkq8craHNTMnpQEc0ftU-jiZbNQ8/s1600-h/DSC03061.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5309474862093141666" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHk8xZQ8lfz2bo1zCxcQheaYQL8eXOsFnTjeXpNvHDWAmvXe06-tKtoG5WMC0KOvvKNUq275AANYWOvqqZ2GIzGLY-NmeDWCQwGQzdOuYbOomb7Q-Gkq8craHNTMnpQEc0ftU-jiZbNQ8/s320/DSC03061.JPG" border="0" /></a>Farrell Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05764255954824262538noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4360970815672996751.post-57756681725913618572009-02-21T19:06:00.000-08:002009-02-21T19:31:55.272-08:0020 months and countingHere are some wonderful new things that Logan is learning to do. From my previous blog I told you that Logan got a new bed. Well the new bed did not go over so well. She learned how to get out of it and pretty much refused to go to sleep in it when Adam or I put her down. However, when our babysitter put her down, she'd fall fast asleep in her bed. We didn't push the bed thing and I figured whenever she was ready she'd do it on her own. Well one night she would not go to sleep in her crib...she wanted to stay awake with mom and dad. We were not going to have that, so we told her she had to stay in her bed. About 30 minutes later we went back to check on her and this is what we found...<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEfn0IkJ1ekgLMgdS8rEuAjdXsCPhRP-d1B2z-Qpia9Y73yMYq7UaFeKedYK4_xAnn29FVB1dhkeICZdZq6ayOko9xJAZfJS462A6gqUu57plVgWeKvYu7h-o2gZff7SnRcnu_xvEeZCE/s1600-h/Asleep+on+her+bed.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5305457286234697330" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEfn0IkJ1ekgLMgdS8rEuAjdXsCPhRP-d1B2z-Qpia9Y73yMYq7UaFeKedYK4_xAnn29FVB1dhkeICZdZq6ayOko9xJAZfJS462A6gqUu57plVgWeKvYu7h-o2gZff7SnRcnu_xvEeZCE/s320/Asleep+on+her+bed.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>She fell asleep in her bed alright...she was just halfway out. We picked her up though and put her in her crib. I think that may have been the last night she slept in her crib. She doesn't use it at all anymore. We are officially in a big girl bed. YEAH!!! When we tell her it's time to go to bed, she will even walk herself in the room and get in bed on her own. Of course we follow to get all the last minute kisses we can get before she falls asleep.</div><br /><div>I've been realizing more and more that she completely understands A LOT of what I am saying. Some how she has learned to put her dishes in the sink when she is done with them and she throws trash away when I ask her to. If you remember pictures from my previous blog about our messy living room...</div><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7mpsvzo9eZpYFPc6vNhsFoWSMNDW27d2pdvCtOH4mgYpLOOi04HEBZuSQLtonwRcVpcrmjuOT2qq5p_pysOtxGCkce-umP2g1ZnmuURbc_ML95wKx80lDrgC-0ua8knBhKTTejT5o8-Y/s1600-h/DSC02964.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5305457284707288498" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7mpsvzo9eZpYFPc6vNhsFoWSMNDW27d2pdvCtOH4mgYpLOOi04HEBZuSQLtonwRcVpcrmjuOT2qq5p_pysOtxGCkce-umP2g1ZnmuURbc_ML95wKx80lDrgC-0ua8knBhKTTejT5o8-Y/s320/DSC02964.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>...yes remember that. Well if you are hoping that she has learned to clean that up yet, the answer is NO. It's her playroom and Adam and I just use it. :)</div><br /><div>She does have a couple of Elmo dolls though and one time I told her that Elmo needs to go "night, night." And do you know that she took him back to her room and put him in her bed. About 30 minutes later I went in there to see if she REALLY did do that and this is what I found....</div><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjnY-PbcZhM7WoNiUjAIwevFbIVvPasJvQoBPymnQNQqVO2_EKyS0c0SOVTnF_UgcvYpww6kNSwvctOdcqLfd3TlPUYWRDeB3A1yyhVLsaKbhmC4exBarotXGL6DCZs-geBqUrnUQShuw/s1600-h/Logan+feeding+Elmo.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5305457290407718418" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjnY-PbcZhM7WoNiUjAIwevFbIVvPasJvQoBPymnQNQqVO2_EKyS0c0SOVTnF_UgcvYpww6kNSwvctOdcqLfd3TlPUYWRDeB3A1yyhVLsaKbhmC4exBarotXGL6DCZs-geBqUrnUQShuw/s320/Logan+feeding+Elmo.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div>Yes Elmo needed a snack too. She very entertaining and the more her vocabulary grows the more that personality of hers comes out also. </div><br /><div>Here is a picture of the three of us this weekend at the Rise and Shine School 1K walk. The 1K ended up being the walk from our car to the registration table and then back....it started to rain really hard. I've been pretty busy. Basketball season (I am the JV coach) is almost over and I'm so thankful. It has been a little tiring going from Volleyball right into Basketball. I miss being able to pick Logan up after work, but that's all about to change in a month. I can't wait because then I'm taking Logan back to swimming lessons and I'm also thinking of doing "tippy-toes." Which is ballet for little ones. It should be adorable!!!<br /><br /><br />As most of you know Adam moved his gym to closer location to our home. Well, just recently they decided to shut down the street in front of his gym and do road construction. The time frame as to when this will all be finished is up in the air. We never know what plans the city may have for us. Luckily though it has currently not slowed business down for Adam too much...it just really interferes with the visibility of people driving by...now this is what Adam gets to look at each day.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZfGw13gicawaqyhz0aII5DHiB4vvDNj8AQkV4KczbYAoDlF2jYDAUEzTuSrtarA-B2enPtiss9703yyjpJEj2dfkCFTgQHPGc_gkCUBRtpMgDE1wA4ond_4yeE6F_6CGE6ONY4uE71Gc/s1600-h/Outside+of+gym.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295442448481967730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZfGw13gicawaqyhz0aII5DHiB4vvDNj8AQkV4KczbYAoDlF2jYDAUEzTuSrtarA-B2enPtiss9703yyjpJEj2dfkCFTgQHPGc_gkCUBRtpMgDE1wA4ond_4yeE6F_6CGE6ONY4uE71Gc/s320/Outside+of+gym.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Logan seems to change and change on a daily basis. Every day is a learning lesson for me as a mom. How to handle certain situations and then sometimes feeling like..."does anyone else's child do this." By no means are any of these things TERRIBLE, but I just keep wondering when is she going to learn things. For instance, when is she going to learn the enjoyment of "clean-up?" She has SOOOO much fun playing with her toys, but she is not at all interested in cleaning them up. She can handle picking one or two things up, but after that she is done and back to pulling more out. I've tried to get her to play in her room, but if Adam or I are not in there she is not interested and will bring whatever is in her room to the living room. So we are left with a living room that looks like this.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirDYtG3dDnnOdsIC1hq6QaZs8s69c19UNtnMhkUZtlZ7I993awYPLspfkVs71fIK_g-7H18-9y4n1isK4YKvOhLSknbKRnLfDr_qHV2aLl2S4-qq5fJUR6DxLfdf2hMbaPe90Yzkc8mYE/s1600-h/DSC02965.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295442458715957634" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirDYtG3dDnnOdsIC1hq6QaZs8s69c19UNtnMhkUZtlZ7I993awYPLspfkVs71fIK_g-7H18-9y4n1isK4YKvOhLSknbKRnLfDr_qHV2aLl2S4-qq5fJUR6DxLfdf2hMbaPe90Yzkc8mYE/s320/DSC02965.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div>Does anyone else have this same problem? I've just recently packed up a few of her toys. It probably doesn't help that she seems to have SO MUCH STUFF!!!</div><br /><br /><div>Today Logan got her first "big girl" bed. YIKES!!! We are starting off with a mattress and although it may be a bit "unconventional," we are putting the mattress on the floor, so that she is low to the ground...in case she rolls off. This afternoon when she woke up from her nap, I brought the mattress into her room and set it all up. We got her Dora sheets because she loves Dora so much and I thought it would make the bed more inviting for her. She still has her crib in the bedroom and we will slowly begin the transition. Actually we slowly began the transition tonight. Instead of putting her in her crib tonight, I laid her in her bed. I turned the light off and walked out. We never heard a peep from her. About 30 minutes later Adam and I are sitting in the living room talking and I say to Adam, "Wow, I can't believe that she fell asleep her in bed that easily." Then I turn around and there she is, wide awake. I guess the difference between a crib and a bed is that she can get out of the bed NO PROBLEM!!! It was still pretty funny. Perfect timing on her part. </div><br /><br /><div>Here are a few pics of the bed and Adam and I testing it out with her.</div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHbotI0sNtbOXUCaZO49M4Evmaxi9ERqsAm-hhyFF2YubMDCx8yD6gfKGvG-GH_tKC4gnLyD33jLfSZQZn2rN1XalQEY-GgnIW5_IH1rrnwjJyFCId1CZnA7_zwAMq6ekXVXvpunMaIes/s1600-h/DSC02983.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295442456956380658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHbotI0sNtbOXUCaZO49M4Evmaxi9ERqsAm-hhyFF2YubMDCx8yD6gfKGvG-GH_tKC4gnLyD33jLfSZQZn2rN1XalQEY-GgnIW5_IH1rrnwjJyFCId1CZnA7_zwAMq6ekXVXvpunMaIes/s320/DSC02983.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg92tL_cIzQhPkyOQ5v_7Ugki3kjji4oX_LeET6sFzPuMRIvj4qjyGR7NuwEyQqrCyMdvRcfiQyQ44E4AhxDg_m-qzOUB-Uo51oYboUHjwSYusOakB6SI24sHfwo1sbbyK_gR_MNkqkkTI/s1600-h/DSC02981.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295442451230749346" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg92tL_cIzQhPkyOQ5v_7Ugki3kjji4oX_LeET6sFzPuMRIvj4qjyGR7NuwEyQqrCyMdvRcfiQyQ44E4AhxDg_m-qzOUB-Uo51oYboUHjwSYusOakB6SI24sHfwo1sbbyK_gR_MNkqkkTI/s320/DSC02981.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />And here is one of her just for fun!!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhus0fFSqhPQsT_myQchT2JD2_lgjd-tKwI6dDLTjTtZzVGMGvMgD5kk538a8W56N7AW-q5yzAUagUNaD8Decz8ZOZnXfQlfOAR-iJl-Jb6vuEv5B5_DR5Fh9qzPLPDz_ivWqNCKf6RZSo/s1600-h/DSC02969.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295442468682296690" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhus0fFSqhPQsT_myQchT2JD2_lgjd-tKwI6dDLTjTtZzVGMGvMgD5kk538a8W56N7AW-q5yzAUagUNaD8Decz8ZOZnXfQlfOAR-iJl-Jb6vuEv5B5_DR5Fh9qzPLPDz_ivWqNCKf6RZSo/s320/DSC02969.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Do you like the pony tail on top?? On Christmas Eve we went to Mass. Cosmo (Logan's grandpa) got Logan this adorable dress for Christmas. We put the dress on Logan for church and she did not find it so adorable. She did NOT want to wear the dress. I guess she didn't like the material because she kept her arms raised up about 3 inches when she had it on. It was pretty funny watching her walk around like that. Althouth this picutre is a bit blurry you can still see how cute she was.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6VWSGj2FEH5NIMlVqfVEhTNT6RWFp7FJK60F5tVSimtpPFr6fuG3-92hR3lGvVL5lOJ1bLc-GCxJIiOc7Lj_5R8N26GNT60v9PsNFYMmys-vTLcIwwW6hiVbwZaIkWKvVInoB5gkxBzE/s1600-h/DSC02856.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5284231906906110450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6VWSGj2FEH5NIMlVqfVEhTNT6RWFp7FJK60F5tVSimtpPFr6fuG3-92hR3lGvVL5lOJ1bLc-GCxJIiOc7Lj_5R8N26GNT60v9PsNFYMmys-vTLcIwwW6hiVbwZaIkWKvVInoB5gkxBzE/s320/DSC02856.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>After church we headed off to Adam's parents house for Christmas gifts with them. Once she unwrapped that DVD, she was done. She did not need to unwrap anymore....of course we still had her unwrap more, but she had to have the DVD right next to her. Well today Logan is 18 months old, officially. And this evening I go to grab the journal to write in it and I just have to take a look back to see what I wrote to her one year ago. I thought I'd share a portion of what I wrote...<br /><br /><em>...I find myself falling more and more in love with you. You are the most amazing baby. You are rolling all over the place and you are getting on all fours to try and crawl. You are just bouncing back and forth, but you are trying. You are also eating cereal and bananas. You are the happiest baby and I feel so blessed to have you as my daughter. You are the most important thing in my life. You are my little baby and I can't wait to watch you continue to grow...<br /></em><br />WOW!! I can't believe how much she has grown. She still is amazing to me and I still find myself loving her more and more each day. I was blessed with a gorgeous daughter 18 months ago and her and Adam are the most important things in my life. Logan is a blessing to my life each day and one of my great accomplishments. Now anytime she wants to slow down some and quit growing up so quickly...I'd be okay with that. :)<br />Here are the photos to show her changes in one year.<br /><br /><br />Here is Logan on December 15, 2007<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzmKnGN9FDO9VUQm28Pih6fIGpN6hSXQjItLFkthde8AbPrpF5hl2f_ejy3HANeRUjonDiWrE8LBXZC38vYUv8ckmeVmmXo-WN7geN4f7kPht_PDwVLijYzEngMVYCeEckd1iTXxukcZg/s1600-h/DSC00893.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280221115272103890" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzmKnGN9FDO9VUQm28Pih6fIGpN6hSXQjItLFkthde8AbPrpF5hl2f_ejy3HANeRUjonDiWrE8LBXZC38vYUv8ckmeVmmXo-WN7geN4f7kPht_PDwVLijYzEngMVYCeEckd1iTXxukcZg/s320/DSC00893.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Logan today...<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizIJrP_xaKziVPwFtxdeAr3fBua4n7psWlLaQnwlfNojiESOWBFefTPIqsc2Wvht1uDo1igt1gd8ahlNaZSkQs3lGVxaqwn1u3YUeq8ObAuIX1siwZQehyPr-lBlY2Y6ylkS5PTEisqYU/s1600-h/Happy+Girl.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280221110521355202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizIJrP_xaKziVPwFtxdeAr3fBua4n7psWlLaQnwlfNojiESOWBFefTPIqsc2Wvht1uDo1igt1gd8ahlNaZSkQs3lGVxaqwn1u3YUeq8ObAuIX1siwZQehyPr-lBlY2Y6ylkS5PTEisqYU/s320/Happy+Girl.JPG" border="0" /></a>Farrell Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05764255954824262538noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4360970815672996751.post-20715734100096672382008-12-07T11:13:00.000-08:002008-12-07T11:21:11.491-08:00Santa PhotoLast year I felt like she was too young to take her photo with Santa. However, during Easter I got her picture taken with the Easter Bunny and she did such a great job. She sat there and had this huge smile on her face. Well, we were not so lucky with Santa. Adam and I took her up the the mall to get the photo with Santa. Everything was fine. We walked over to Santa, I sat her down on his lap, I took one step back and Santa spoke to her and that was it...she lost it. Of course we couldn't walk away without a photo to remember this moment by.<br /><br />Here is Logan with Santa<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpacFTEub6c9ErCtDD6vj8bnYmgrSeIsqNXPVYeJnEW169mVqBhNFWuO90XWjswg7cx4qlGDDFRu8rZjJIjUT8SeNwRTIK5_HqHzUVzOCTnLQUa1uHWI4PgX92B8XQC6i8mpHy_D8BwIM/s1600-h/Photo+with+Santa+2008.png"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5277129545621977202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 229px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpacFTEub6c9ErCtDD6vj8bnYmgrSeIsqNXPVYeJnEW169mVqBhNFWuO90XWjswg7cx4qlGDDFRu8rZjJIjUT8SeNwRTIK5_HqHzUVzOCTnLQUa1uHWI4PgX92B8XQC6i8mpHy_D8BwIM/s320/Photo+with+Santa+2008.png" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Once the picture was over with I took her off Santa's lap and she was fine. I was fortunate to have the week off of work. I still had basketball, but that was only 2 hours of my day. The rest of the time I got to spend with Adam and Logan. It was really great getting to do things with Logan that I don't normally get to do with her during the week. We went to the park, we went on a few walks, I got to take a nap when she did (I was VERY thankful for that), and we went shopping together. </div><br /><br />For Thanksgiving we went to Adam's parents house. His sister came down with her puppy (Buddy), so we had a house full of dogs, people and food. Adam's mom did most of the cooking and it was delicious. Although this was not Logan's first Thanksgiving it was the first time she got to enjoy the meal. She was quite the source of entertainment for us. She danced around and spun in circles. It was very cute. The cutest part was when we were saying the blessing and giving thanks before the meal. Logan was sitting in between Adam's mom and I. We all grabbed hands to say our blessing and Logan decided she didn't want to hold anyones hand, so she raised her hands straight up in the air. Therefore we all decided we'd raise our hands straight up in the air and go around and give thanks. She kept those hands up the whole time and continued to look at us like we were the crazy ones. <br /><br />Here are a few photos of us on Thanksgiving...<br /><br /><br /><br />Logan and Honey watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-DCVvFdlspZ3eG0ZKEc24URs9mPG4WXLa_H6y8LP7rJHn2DuY3xa5cVnwEkCohrH9d5XncQoHgLhsUyV87Q2FVo1Ph_ig3bHLadgB4WSZSXqR3Xt4jgbJ-0jSpPZgel1zwlRHHGsA5wc/s1600-h/DSC02099.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5274548229486622018" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-DCVvFdlspZ3eG0ZKEc24URs9mPG4WXLa_H6y8LP7rJHn2DuY3xa5cVnwEkCohrH9d5XncQoHgLhsUyV87Q2FVo1Ph_ig3bHLadgB4WSZSXqR3Xt4jgbJ-0jSpPZgel1zwlRHHGsA5wc/s320/DSC02099.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Logan and Cosmo playing with the Dogs...I think Logan is playing with Cosmo<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNK_Wuqi5dPrrBMrcnqVkmvHT40Y-vvUL9mid0PiMCmXpBbMPuVrMSRaY5fkFh2PSUJhTQvIbTwa8Y8IfK5uDu3H-AgInl8nyS01Rm_B8LPVAAXv1KAa_LszKi4PoWhpUkQNfhKS1N_rc/s1600-h/DSC02122.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5274548219098802754" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNK_Wuqi5dPrrBMrcnqVkmvHT40Y-vvUL9mid0PiMCmXpBbMPuVrMSRaY5fkFh2PSUJhTQvIbTwa8Y8IfK5uDu3H-AgInl8nyS01Rm_B8LPVAAXv1KAa_LszKi4PoWhpUkQNfhKS1N_rc/s320/DSC02122.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Mom getting Logan's food ready<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2OrGyPcJ9tRKSYFI71s_AlXAmZV2b1JPvPc74FxVJDNSreniASDrCnVPF8jm3fNeFHCAsMMU8DsVxxrF_XGAwkdZBbIo_rHFyHyTmOKQ9CNlod7UG2GraPSa8OKOEbirCLA4xLi68rms/s1600-h/DSC02114.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5274548213875046034" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2OrGyPcJ9tRKSYFI71s_AlXAmZV2b1JPvPc74FxVJDNSreniASDrCnVPF8jm3fNeFHCAsMMU8DsVxxrF_XGAwkdZBbIo_rHFyHyTmOKQ9CNlod7UG2GraPSa8OKOEbirCLA4xLi68rms/s320/DSC02114.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />At the dinner table. She knows where her ears and nose are and will point to them. She does know what you are saying....like going outside. She knows the difference between a bath and shower. If you ask her does she want a bath she runs to the bath tub, if I ask her if she wants to take a shower with mom, she runs to our bathroom to get in the shower. She's amazing. Last year was a bit easier to get good pictures. She just sort of sat there last year. This year however was a different story. She was all over the place and getting her to sit still long enough to take a photo seemed nearly impossible. Our camera isn't fast enough. I don't know if any camera is fast enough. </div><br /><br /><div>We still got some great shots of her. </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div>Take a look at the photos from last year and the photos from this year. Life got really crazy once volleyball season started. We are doing really well though. It's the best the high school has done before in Volleyball. I am really excited about the potential this program has. I'm looking forward to watching my younger players develop into better players. Their senior year should be a lot of fun.<br />Adam has been busy with work, as always. I don't think business ever slows down for him. He is always working on some new project or idea. He is still doing bootcamp at Cole Park in the mornings. I hadn't been in a while, so a few weeks ago I decided to go out there. I didn't even make it through the warm-up and left. This random guy just rides his bike up to our group and he looks so scary and he pulls adam off to the side to have some talk. He actually gives Adam two hugs during this conversation and proceeds to tell Adam how he just got out of jail/prison and wants some money. He wants to know if Adam has any money or if any of those cars over there.....our cars....are unlocked so he can go take some money out of them. Adam tells him no and this guy actually leaves and so do I. I had Logan with me and there was no way I was hanging around that mess. It wasn't like that in the summer. I did go back earlier this week though and everything was fine.<br />Adam has also started selling Juice plus. It is a great source for getting all the fruits and veggies that you need. If you are interested you have to give him a shout about it.<br /><br />Now on to what everyone really wants to hear about.....Logan. How she is doing? What is she up to? She's doing AMAZING. She's into EVERYTHING. She runs all over the place and has currently picked up climbing. This is new and I can see it getting pretty scary in the future. She still has some trouble getting on to the couch, so we are good for at least another week. :) She really is starting to understand a lot of what we are saying to her. She chooses to listen when she wants to. It's selective hearing. She's so much fun though, except when she is hungry or really tired. Those aren't really the "fun" times. She's a blast to hang out with and she is exploring everything. She LOVES books. That is a great thing. She constantly brings a book over to you and she actually wants to sit in your lap and have you read it to her. She has a million books all over the house and she even knows some of the words in them. She understands this Farm animal book and when we turn the page to, "scrathch the elephants ears," she actually scratches his ears. It's really adorable.<br />Here are a few updated photos of Logan.<br /><br /><br />Logan sitting on Mom's lap enjoying a great book. She's 14months and I can't believe it. She is all over the place now. She gets into everything. I am enjoying her being able to walk. I heard that I wouldn't because she would be so fast, but I really do enjoy it. I can chase her around the house and it's just so darn cute. She is talking a bunch...you can't understand much of it, but she's making lots of noise.<br />She is going to a different daycare than what she went to last year because of my job change. She cried the first 2 weeks when I dropped her off and I cried the first couple of days. :) That was hard leaving my baby and having her cry like that for me. I guess she was too young to realize it the last time she was going to daycare. Now everything is fine and there are about 3 or 4 other little kids who are close to Logan's age so she will probably learn a lot of really great stuff from them and she'll probably learn a lot of "great" stuff that we will have wished she hadn't learned.<br />Logan has also got to come up to the gym for a few of my volleyball practices. She loves the volleyballs. She will chase them down. It's so cute. I need to get a picture of her with the balls because 15/16 years from now she'll really be playing volleyball and she'll be great at it. :)<br />One of Adam's aunts sent Logan some "back to school" clothes recently and so this past Sunday we put one of the outfits on her when we went to a baptism. The outfit was too adorable on her, so I just had to post pictures for everyone to see. </div><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrAJ3cJzJzRkr70wtwwwICdQgNN6TjX_gH6q5dsrfblAd-uFF92v0ezoaBsA5kbJiVuEfpd-VSTwUyk9HDiu5dJJBV-x6-9LnPzk12wHx4qUhiKKJ1VOfdmZGOSVkWZHAvA6br4arv4EA/s1600-h/DSC02414.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5236027811514147778" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrAJ3cJzJzRkr70wtwwwICdQgNN6TjX_gH6q5dsrfblAd-uFF92v0ezoaBsA5kbJiVuEfpd-VSTwUyk9HDiu5dJJBV-x6-9LnPzk12wHx4qUhiKKJ1VOfdmZGOSVkWZHAvA6br4arv4EA/s320/DSC02414.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVuvwopOgDTHXxoIrH_g29tZVjEhf3zlSOdnSEClNL25Vz5zC-q3FFKY3gVh_CRz_NS6RZLwzI4zlNuHJMe0BfNz7Yv2_MXPjgs3lL4zVLOX5hERonccUR29l8NuKXkgkmcw-1-wP8_8E/s1600-h/DSC02412.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5236027663257406338" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVuvwopOgDTHXxoIrH_g29tZVjEhf3zlSOdnSEClNL25Vz5zC-q3FFKY3gVh_CRz_NS6RZLwzI4zlNuHJMe0BfNz7Yv2_MXPjgs3lL4zVLOX5hERonccUR29l8NuKXkgkmcw-1-wP8_8E/s320/DSC02412.JPG" border="0" /></a>Farrell Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05764255954824262538noreply@blogger.com1
